Can I add a late player without starting again?
Yes—between rounds. After everyone finishes, record the displayed round first. Then add the arriving player or mark someone away. Next Court prepares the next pairings while keeping the completed rounds. Open the tool and choose “Try a late-arrival example” to see two saved rounds survive a player change. This replaces the current local session after confirmation, so save any real progress first.
Does everyone get exactly equal court time?
It prioritizes playing opportunities for players who were present, then searches for fewer repeated partners and opponents. Changing attendance can produce unequal totals. It does not promise a complete round robin, skill balancing or no repeated partners.
Is it a tournament or scoring app?
No. It is for casual rotating-partner doubles. It does not manage scores, rankings, fixed teams, bookings or player payments.
Can I use it on my phone or without internet?
The supported starting point is desktop Chrome or Edge. A narrow layout is included, but actual iPhone/Android and outdoor use are untested. The hosted version needs internet to open; offline reopening is not provided.
What if I close the page?
The session is saved in this browser when storage is available. Clearing browser data or using private browsing can remove it. Save a JSON backup to keep an independent copy. There is no account recovery or cloud sync.
Know who organizes your next session?
Pass them the free tool before game day, so they can try it on a laptop.
