Your roster stays in your browser.
This describes the current Next Court tool and its Cloudflare Pages web hosting.
What the tool stores
The names you enter, attendance, court count and completed rounds are saved in this browser's local storage. There is no player account, roster upload, cross-device sync or advertising script. Optional usage counts are described below. Nicknames are sufficient.
Backups and deletion
“Save backup” creates a file on your device containing those names and session details. You control that file. Restore reads the file in your browser; it is not sent to us. Starting a different session replaces the current local session after confirmation. To remove all saved tool data, clear this site's browser storage. Delete downloaded backups separately if you no longer need them. We cannot retrieve or reset your session.
Web hosting
Opening the web-hosted release contacts Cloudflare Pages to retrieve the site. Cloudflare can process request information, such as IP address and browser information, to deliver and protect the service. “Local storage” does not mean that accessing a website is anonymous. See Cloudflare's privacy policy. No request is made by the tool to send your entered names or round history.
Questions and support
Usage instructions are on the help page. You can ask usage questions by replying to our r/padel introduction on Reddit. Replies are public, require a Reddit account, and are governed by Reddit's rules and privacy policy. We may read and summarize product questions to improve Next Court. Do not post names, rosters, backups or other personal information. There is no contact form or email collection on this site, and no guaranteed response time.
Optional usage measurement
Measurement is off until you choose “Allow counts”. Declining does not limit any tool feature. Change or withdraw your choice with “Usage measurement settings” on any page. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control.
With your permission, we send only a fixed action label and whether it is a test: a visit, opening the tool, starting a session with changed names, recording its first or third round, recording a sample or restored round, restoring a backup, or preparing a backup. We do not send names, player lists, scores, court counts, backups, page addresses, referrers, device identifiers or user IDs. The receiving service necessarily processes your IP address to handle the request, as does normal web hosting; our counts database does not store it.
Cloudflare Pages Functions and D1 store only a UTC date, action, test/normal category and total count. The database is not publicly readable. Active counts older than 90 days are removed when the next accepted count arrives; if collection stops, old totals may remain until housekeeping. Cloudflare may retain service logs and recovery backups under its own policies. We do not enable session recording or advertising tracking.
Your choice is stored in this browser for 180 days. When allowed, tab storage avoids counting the same visit/tool opening twice within 30 minutes of activity; local storage keeps only the current sample/custom/restored mode and milestone flags. No unique tracking ID is generated. Disabling counts clears these measurement flags; your player data is kept separately. Counts can miss blocked or declined requests and can include repeated visits. They do not prove unique people or real-world play.
Price and availability
This version is free, one session at a time, with backup/restore included. No card is requested. Any future paid product would have separate terms and an explicit purchase step. No paid features or permanent availability are promised.
